Bonaforte’s Five Star is Puppy Plus and packed full of naturally occurring collagen, helping to maintain healthy joints and skin, and puppy’s cognitive and visual development.

Five Star  Puppy Plus Salmon is formulated to contain a minimum of 35% Freshly Prepared Salmon and 65% total Salmon. These recipes also contain Dill, Fennel, Spinach, Asparagus and Tomato, each with specific benefits for pets.

Tomato - A great source of dietary fibre to help normalise the gastrointestinal transit time.

Asparagus - A source of folate to help support cellular growth and maturation. Whilst also containing vitamin K which plays a role in heart health, bone density and dental health.

Fennel - A good source of calcium which helps maintain healthy bones and teeth. This also helps to increase appetite as well as minimising belching in dogs.

Spinach - A source of Iron to help support normal functions of the circulatory system. It also contains large amounts of vitamins A, B, C and K which stimulates the digestive tract

This Puppy Salmon recipe contains a higher level of protein to aid with growth and development, as well as a higher energy content in order to fuel a puppy until their next feeding and also providing the calories to aid growth.

The kibble size of the two recipes also differs with the puppy recipe being 5mm smaller in width and 1mm smaller in height than the adult recipe. The reasoning for this is to make the kibble easier to consumer and digest for a puppy.
